Friday 10 Mar 2017, 10:05 AM A WOMAN WAS threatened during a robbery of a shop in Thomas Street, Co Limerick.Yesterday a lone raider entered a shop armed with a large knife, and threatening a female shop assistant before demanding cash.The raider then left the shop with an undisclosed amount of cash.At approximately 11am, gardaí were told a robbery had taken place on Thomas Street. In a follow-up search, gardaí arrested a man in his 30s.He was detained at Henry Street Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.He is expected to appear before Limerick District Court this morning charged in connection with this robbery.Read: Jogger knocked down in hit and run dies in hospitalRead: Drimnagh Credit Union has been fined €125k for creating ‘unacceptable risk’ of money laundering 9,237 Views A section of Thomas Street, Co Limerick.
